me: I am an explorer of history, myth, and magic. The ancient
Goddess-worshipping cultures of Europe fascinate me and I have
spent over twenty years researching them because they speak to
the root of my beliefs as a Pagan. Although I am a member of the
Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids, I travel a solitary Goddess-centered
path through the Druidic woods.
my work: I like to develop creative ways to explore the world
and then integrate them into my spiritual practices and everyday
life. This serves as the basis for my books. While I hope to inspire
people, the ultimate goal of my writing is to inform and inspire.
Because wisdom comes from a full range of discerning information,
I encourage people to study, question, and be creative.
my life: I have lived in New York City, Europe, England, and now
New England (coastal Maine) where I live in a Victorian-era house
with my family, cats, and a couple of ghosts. In addition to writing,
I am a yoga instructor and Reiki practitioner. I love connecting
with the natural world through gardening, hiking, snowshoeing,
ocean kayaking, and bird watching. (I am a member of the Cornell
Lab of Ornithology and Maine Audubon.) I also enjoy genealogy
