About me: I am an explorer of history, myth, and magic. The ancient Goddess-worshipping cultures of Europe fascinate me and I have spent over twenty years researching them because they speak to the root of my beliefs as a Pagan. Although I am a member of the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids, I travel a solitary Goddess-centered path through the Druidic woods.

About my work: I like to develop creative ways to explore the world and then integrate them into my spiritual practices and everyday life. This serves as the basis for my books, which I hope informs and inspires readers. Because wisdom comes from a full range of discerning information, I encourage people to study, question, and be creative.

About my life: I have lived in New York City, Europe, England, and now New England (coastal Maine) where I live in a Victorian-era house with my family, cats, and a couple of ghosts. In addition to writing, I am a yoga instructor and Reiki practitioner. I love connecting with the natural world through gardening, hiking, snowshoeing, ocean kayaking, and bird watching. (I am a member of the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and Maine Audubon.) I also enjoy genealogy research.
